Shocking Incident of Assault on Train in Jharkhand

Assault Attempt on a Train Journey

A disturbing incident has emerged from Jharkhand, where a woman traveling on a train was targeted by a young man under the influence of alcohol, who attempted to sexually assault her. Reports indicate that the victim, a differently-abled woman, was on her way to Uttar Pradesh from Odisha. In the early hours, between 2 and 3 AM, she left her seat to use the bathroom.

During this time, a pantry car staff member, identified as Ramjeet, entered the bathroom and attempted to assault her. Upon receiving the complaint, the railway police apprehended the suspect as soon as the train reached the station.

Brave Passengers Come to the Rescue
According to the victim, the assailant also engaged in unnatural sexual acts during the incident. Hearing her cries for help, two young men traveling on the train intervened, forcing the bathroom door open to rescue her from the attacker.
