Puri: In a shocking incident, two young boys were reportedly tied to an electric pole and subjected to severe mistreatment by a group of individuals in the Kotakosanga region, which falls under the jurisdiction of Balanga police in Puri district.

The assailants allegedly burned the children with cigarette ends and forced them to consume urine.

Sources indicate that this brutal act stemmed from a conflict between the communities of Kotakosanga and Pradhansahi.

Despite the boys' desperate cries for assistance, witnesses reportedly turned a blind eye. It was only when family members arrived that the children were freed from their tormentors.

Although this incident occurred on Saturday, there has been no action taken by Balanga police, prompting significant public anger in the community.
