In a shocking turn of events in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law have found themselves embroiled in a scandal that has left the community in disbelief. Their relationship, which began as a joke, escalated into a serious affair, leading to dire consequences. The sister-in-law became pregnant, prompting the brother-in-law to arrange for an abortion to keep their secret hidden. Unfortunately for them, their actions led to their arrest.

After the abortion, the couple disposed of the fetus in a garbage heap within the city. This disturbing act eventually caught the attention of the police, who began investigating the matter. They reviewed footage from over 100 CCTV cameras in the area, which ultimately led to the identification of the couple. Upon learning of the situation, the sister-in-law's sibling expressed her shock, stating she would have remained oblivious had the police not intervened. She felt betrayed by both her husband and sister.

During a press conference, SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma revealed that the fetus was discovered on June 24 near the garbage dump at the Roorkee Chowki Chungi. Initially, a report was filed against unknown individuals as the police sought to uncover the truth. Inspector Umesh Roriya and his team meticulously examined the CCTV footage surrounding the incident.

Legal Action Taken

The police have arrested Abhishek, a resident of North Rampuri, and his sister-in-law Priya, also from North Rampuri. Investigations revealed that the two had engaged in an illicit relationship, resulting in Priya's pregnancy. To conceal their affair, they resorted to abortion and disposed of the fetus. Reports indicate that the fetus was six months old at the time of disposal. The police are continuing their investigation and have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused.
