Shocking Incident in Bihar: Woman Attacks Rival After Lover's Betrayal

A Disturbing Incident Unfolds

A troubling event has emerged from Bihar, where a woman reacted violently after learning that her lover had married another woman. Enraged by the betrayal, she attacked the newlywed bride, cutting her hair and pouring adhesive into her eyes. This incident was reported late Tuesday night, stemming from the woman's anger over her lover, Gopal Ram's, marriage.

After the wedding ceremony, Gopal Ram returned to his village, Mora Talab, with his wife and relatives. The jilted lover, who is also a friend of Gopal's sister, entered their home under the pretense of visiting. Once most family members had fallen asleep from exhaustion, she sneaked into the bedroom and cut the bride's hair before pouring adhesive into her eyes.

The victim screamed in pain, waking other family members. The attacker attempted to flee but was apprehended by the family. They held her captive and assaulted her throughout the night. When the police arrived, they took the assailant into custody.

An official stated, 'The victim is currently hospitalized with severe injuries and may lose her eyesight. Her condition is stable at the moment.' Authorities are investigating the entire incident, and tensions remain high in the village. Police are stationed in the area to restore normalcy.
