A shocking event has emerged from Bihar, where a woman, enraged by her lover's betrayal and subsequent marriage to another woman, launched an attack on the newlywed. The incident occurred late Tuesday night when the jilted lover, upset over Gopal Ram's marriage, confronted his bride. In a fit of rage, she first cut the bride's hair and then poured Fevikwik into her eyes.

After the wedding ceremony, Gopal Ram returned to his village, Mora Talab, with his wife and relatives. The angry ex-girlfriend, who is also a friend of Gopal's sister, entered their home under the pretense of visiting. Once most family members had fallen asleep from exhaustion, she sneaked into the bedroom and assaulted the bride.

The victim screamed in pain, waking other family members. The attacker attempted to flee but was captured by the family. They held her captive and assaulted her throughout the night. When the police arrived, they took the assailant into custody.

An official reported, 'The victim is currently hospitalized with severe injuries and may lose her eyesight. Her condition is stable at the moment.'
