A disturbing incident has emerged from Bengaluru, where a young woman filed a complaint stating that someone recorded her while she was bathing. The police acted swiftly, apprehending the suspect shortly after the report was made.
Allegations of Invasion of Privacy
According to the victim, a 23-year-old woman, an unknown male attempted to film her in her bathroom on the night of April 29 at around 9:30 PM. The police took her complaint seriously and arrested a suspect soon after.
The FIR indicates that the victim resides in Vinod Homes, located in the Garudachar Palya area. While she was bathing, she noticed an unidentified individual trying to record her with his phone. Startled, she screamed, prompting the suspect to flee the scene.
Victim's Mental Distress
The victim, who works as a software engineer, reported feeling significantly distressed following the incident. The accused, identified as Karthik, is a 30-year-old married man with an MBA, employed at a private firm in Bengaluru. Following her complaint, the police registered a case and detained the suspect. This incident reportedly took place in the Mahadevapura area of Bengaluru.
Murder Case of Gig Worker
In another shocking case in Bengaluru, a 36-year-old gig worker was accused of stalking a minor girl. Following this, the girl's father and relatives allegedly murdered the worker and disposed of his body in a drain. The police have registered a murder case and arrested four suspects after conducting an investigation.
