A Disturbing Family Drama Unfolds in Uttar Pradesh

Shocking Elopement: Mother of Four Leaves Family for Daughter’s Father-in-LawA 43-year-old woman from the Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh has reportedly run away with her daughter’s father-in-law, abandoning her husband and four children, as per local sources on Sunday.

The woman, named Mamta, is believed to have formed a romantic bond with 46-year-old Shailendra, also known as Billu, over time. This incident follows a similar case in Aligarh, where another woman eloped with her daughter’s fiancé.

Mamta’s husband, Sunil Kumar, a truck driver who is away from home for extended periods, alleged that his wife frequently invited Shailendra over during his absences. He accused her of not only having an affair but also of taking cash and jewelry when she left.

Their son, Sachin, backed his father's claims, revealing that Mamta would often ask the children to stay in another room while Shailendra visited. He mentioned that the couple had escaped together in a tempo.

Neighbors also supported the family's allegations. Awadhesh Kumar, a nearby resident, confirmed that Mamta and Shailendra met often and discreetly. He noted that since Shailendra was a relative, their relationship went unnoticed, with Shailendra frequently arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning.

In response to the situation, Sunil Kumar has lodged a formal complaint at the local police station.
