A man has become an internet sensation for all the wrong reasons after a shocking act was captured on CCTV inside an elevator, leaving viewers in disbelief.

The viral video appears to have been filmed in a residential or office building. It starts with two men in the lift, each holding a jar of water. After a brief moment, they exit the elevator, but what happens next is utterly shocking.

One man, dressed in a white printed shirt, re-enters the elevator alone. As soon as the doors close, he turns to a corner and brazenly begins urinating, as casually as if he were checking his phone.

The man's indecent behavior continues even when the elevator doors open on another floor. Instead of stopping or showing any sign of regret, he quickly presses the door-close button to finish what he seems to consider an urgent need.

After completing the act, he carelessly drags the urine with his shoes towards the gap between the elevator floor and the landing, all while scrolling through his mobile phone.

Social media users on X (formerly Twitter) are expressing their shock over the viral video.

One user questioned, “Is this man living under a rock during Swachh Bharat?”

Another user remarked, “I’m not sure why he did this, but one thing is clear, we don’t have enough public toilets. Many workers spend long hours away from home and often lack access to clean facilities. The government should definitely build more public restrooms, and it would be beneficial if high-rise societies also provided such basic amenities.”

While most elevator rides are uneventful, this one took a shocking turn. If someone had entered at that moment, it would have been a nightmare.
