The father of the bride, who had worked tirelessly to provide for his daughter, faced a heartbreaking moment when the groom's family openly requested a luxury vehicle worth 3.5 million rupees. This occurred after the wedding festivities had already begun, including the arrival of the groom's party and the exchange of garlands. Just as the couple was about to take their vows, the groom's mother signaled him to pause, leading to a private discussion where the demand for the expensive car was made. The bride's father, having already spent a considerable amount on the wedding, expressed his inability to fulfill this request, which led to tensions escalating and threats of returning the groom's party.
Seeking Justice for the Bride's Family
In a desperate attempt to resolve the situation, the bride's family contacted the authorities, but to no avail. The matter eventually reached a local community council, which ruled that the groom's family must reimburse the bride's father for the wedding expenses. However, the groom's family delayed the process and even filed a counter-case against the bride's family. Upon learning of this, the bride's family took legal action, and the police initiated an investigation.
