In a disturbing incident from Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, a domestic dispute escalated dramatically on Friday. During an argument, a husband bit off his wife's lip, leading to severe injuries. According to police reports, the woman required 16 stitches on her lips and is currently unable to speak.

Due to her inability to verbally communicate her ordeal, the victim resorted to writing down the details of the incident on paper. She has filed a complaint against her husband, brother-in-law, and mother-in-law for harassment. Mohit Tomar, the officer in charge of Magorra police station, stated that the woman alleged that her husband returned home and began arguing with her. When she asked him to calm down, he resorted to physical violence.

Family Violence Escalates

According to Tomar, when the woman urged her husband to remain calm, he unexpectedly bit both her lips, causing significant bleeding. Her sister, who attempted to intervene, was also assaulted. The victim claims that when she reported her husband's actions to her mother-in-law and brother-in-law, they responded with verbal abuse and physical aggression.

Medical Attention Required

Following the incident, the woman's father took her to the police station to file a complaint against her husband Vishnu, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law. Police confirmed that she received 16 stitches on her lips. The officer in charge indicated that the altercation stemmed from a domestic dispute. Since the incident, the brother-in-law and mother-in-law have gone missing, and efforts are underway to apprehend them.
