In a disturbing incident from Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, a son-in-law violently attacked his wife and elderly father-in-law. This shocking event occurred at the Khedi Sawaligarh police outpost area. Reports indicate that around 10 PM on Friday, a young man named Durgesh Karoche assaulted his wife Anita and his 62-year-old father-in-law Ramsa Dhurve with a stick, resulting in severe injuries to both.


Victims Hospitalized

Following the attack, both victims were rushed to Betul District Hospital for treatment, where they are currently receiving care. Family members have expressed that the accused son-in-law has a history of violent behavior, but this incident marks a new level of brutality.


Previous Attempts to Cause Harm

Moreover, it has been alleged that the accused previously attempted to set the house on fire by tampering with the gas cylinder. Reports suggest that he had made a similar attempt before, which was reported to the police, but no action was taken.


Police Investigation Underway

According to sources, during the earlier incident, a call was made to the police via Dial 100, and they did arrive at the scene; however, no substantial action was taken at that time. Currently, the police are investigating the matter, and there are expectations for action against the accused.
