Shocking Domestic Abuse Case in Ludhiana: Husband Arrested for Violent Acts

Ludhiana. A distressing case has emerged from Ludhiana where a husband has been accused of subjecting his wife to years of unnatural sexual acts. Despite her repeated refusals, the husband continued his abusive behavior. Whenever the wife requested money for household expenses or their children's school fees, he allegedly coerced her into these acts.

The situation escalated dramatically when the husband inserted an empty beer bottle into his wife's private area, holding it there for nearly a minute while she screamed in agony, but he ignored her pleas.

After enduring this torment, the wife confronted him, leading to a violent altercation where he physically assaulted her and threw her out of the house. Injured, she fled to her parental home with their young son and was subsequently admitted to a hospital.

She filed a complaint at the Dugri police station, resulting in the police registering an FIR against her husband for assault and rape. The accused has since been apprehended. The wife claims to possess videos that document her husband's coercive actions.

Details from the Wife's Complaint

The woman, residing on New Punjab Mata Nagar Pakhoval Road, reported that she married in 2008. Initially, their relationship was stable, but since 2013, he has been forcing her into unnatural sexual acts against her will. When she resisted, he would resort to violence.

She stated, "My children are in school. Whenever I asked for money for their fees or household expenses, he would force me into unnatural sex. If I refused, he would beat me mercilessly. I endured this abuse for years to protect my dignity."

On April 6, the husband crossed all boundaries. After consuming alcohol, he inserted a beer bottle into her private area multiple times, despite her cries for help. He then beat her into silence and expelled her from their home the following day, necessitating her hospitalization.

Fear of Humiliation in Front of Children

The victim expressed her fear of humiliation in front of her two sons, aged 14 and 12, which kept her silent about the abuse. "From 2008 to 2013, he was fine, but after that, he began making unreasonable demands. I tried to stop him, but he wouldn’t listen," she explained.

Evidence of Abuse: The Videos

The woman informed the police that she had recorded videos of her husband's abusive behavior. She had initially confided in her mother about the situation, who advised her to gather evidence to support her claims. On April 6, she secretly set up her mobile camera in their bedroom, capturing the disturbing events that unfolded that night.

Following the submission of the videos to the police, her husband was arrested. The SHO of Dugri police station, Sukhwinder Singh Deyol, confirmed that an FIR was filed based on the woman's complaint, leading to the husband's arrest on April 13. He is currently being interrogated.
