Incident in Agra Shakes Marital Norms

Shocking Demands on Wedding Night: Bride Asks for ₹90 Lakhs

Agra News: A shocking incident has emerged from the Jagdishpura area of Agra, challenging the foundations of marital relationships and societal norms. On her wedding night, a newlywed bride made an astonishing demand of ₹90 lakhs from her husband. When her request was not met, she not only refused to consummate the marriage but also attempted to set her in-laws on fire.

This case involves the brother of a female doctor from the Sikandra area. According to her, her brother married a woman from Hathras. Upon arriving at her in-laws' house after the wedding, the bride surprised her husband with her demands. She explicitly stated that she was not interested in the marriage and was only there for the money, insisting that she would only continue the relationship if she received ₹90 lakhs in cash. The groom was left in a state of shock.

Attempted Murder via PNG Pipeline

When the husband and his family expressed their inability to meet such a hefty demand, tensions escalated. Allegedly, the bride created a ruckus and called her family for support. Her relatives, accompanied by goons, arrived and locked the family inside their home. ये खबर आप गज़ब वायरल में पढ़ रहे हैं। The situation turned dire when the assailants broke the PNG gas pipeline in the house, intending to cause a gas leak and set the house ablaze with the family inside.

Escape with Jewelry

The victimized family managed to call for help from neighbors, which allowed them to escape. During the chaos, the bride allegedly gathered her mother-in-law's valuable jewelry and other belongings before fleeing with her family.

FIR Filed Following Court Orders

The affected family claims that the Jagdishpura police initially ignored their complaint. Eventually, the distressed doctor sought legal recourse, and following a court order, the police have now registered a case against the bride, her father, and other accomplices under serious charges. However, the police are also considering the case from the perspective of the Dowry Act.
