Shocking Case of Abduction and Forced Conversion in Madhya Pradesh
Disturbing Incident in Ashoknagar
Ashoknagar News: A deeply troubling incident has emerged from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, involving the horrific treatment of three minor girls. Not only were they subjected to brutal acts, but they were also coerced into converting their religion in a premeditated manner. The shocking details came to light when one of the victims returned home wearing a burqa alongside two other girls, leaving their families in utter disbelief.
Details of the Case
The primary victim hails from Piprai in Ashoknagar district. Approximately four months ago, she met a young man named Altamash at the Piprai railway station. Allegations suggest that Altamash befriended her and then lured her into a false marriage proposal, subsequently taking her to Bhopal. There, she claims to have been subjected to extensive brainwashing. The victim alleges that Altamash raped her multiple times and pressured her to convert to Islam, attempting to indoctrinate her into Islamic practices.
Involvement of Other Accused
Investigations revealed that Altamash was not acting alone; he was accompanied by two other suspects, Arhaan Khan and Aahat Khan. These individuals also deceived two other minor girls from Bhopal, subjecting them to similar acts of sexual assault and forcing them to convert.
Family Takes Action
The situation remained concealed until the victim returned to her village with the other girls. Upon seeing their daughter in a burqa, her family was alarmed. When questioned, she broke down in tears and recounted her ordeal. Enraged, her family, along with local Hindu organizations, approached the police to file a complaint. The seriousness of the case prompted the Ashoknagar SDOP, Vivek Sharma, to confirm that the police swiftly registered a case against the three accused.
Police Response
SDOP Vivek Sharma stated that based on the victim's complaint, the police have filed charges of rape and violations under the SC-ST Act, as well as the Freedom of Religion Act. It has come to light that one of the accused is already incarcerated for another offense, while efforts to locate the others are ongoing. Local Hindu organizations have expressed outrage, demanding a thorough investigation into this 'love jihad' and conversion syndicate. The police have assured that anyone else involved will face consequences, and teams are currently conducting raids in Bhopal and surrounding areas.
