According to details, this event took place on the night of June 30, 2025, in a middle-class neighborhood of Jaipur. A heated argument erupted between the husband and wife, leading the wife to decide to sleep in another room out of anger. Initially, the husband perceived this as a typical marital disagreement and later went to her room to make amends. However, upon opening the door, he was stunned to find his wife in a compromising position with her lover.
The husband, Bhawarlal, recounted that the incident occurred around 12:30 AM. He had been asleep in his room when he was awakened by some noise. To his shock, he discovered his wife, Suman, in a compromising situation with her lover, Laduram. When Bhawarlal confronted them, Suman allegedly attempted to strangle him. During the commotion, Laduram managed to escape. Other family members rushed to the scene after hearing Bhawarlal's cries for help, rescuing him. Bhawarlal explained that prior to this incident, Suman had quarreled with him and decided to sleep separately. When he went to her room to reconcile, he found her with Laduram.
Discovery of Suspicious Substances
Following the incident, Bhawarlal and his relatives searched the room, uncovering a white suspicious powder, some narcotic pills, and a syringe from the wardrobe. Bhawarlal alleged that these items were intended to poison him gradually. He informed the police that he had been feeling unwell for some time and suspected that Suman was tampering with his food and drink. This suspicion was reinforced when the suspicious substances were found. The police have seized these items for forensic analysis, and Bhawarlal is undergoing a medical examination to determine if he had been poisoned.
Previous Elopement with the Lover
The police investigation revealed that Suman had previously eloped with her alleged lover, Laduram, in March 2024. Bhawarlal had filed a complaint at the Renwal police station regarding her disappearance. A few days later, Suman returned home with her family, but Bhawarlal continued to harbor suspicions about her activities. He claimed that Suman's illicit relationship with Laduram had been ongoing for a long time, and this incident confirmed his fears.
