Shocking Attempted Assault on Woman in Jharkhand Train

A disturbing incident of attempted sexual assault has emerged from Jharkhand, where a young man allegedly tried to assault a woman traveling on a train while under the influence of alcohol. Reports indicate that a disabled woman was on board the train when she decided to visit the restroom around midnight. At that moment, a pantry car staff member entered the restroom and attempted to assault her. Following a complaint, the railway police apprehended the suspect upon the train's arrival at the station.

Details of the Assault

The 28-year-old victim was en route from Odisha to Uttar Pradesh when the incident occurred between 2 and 3 AM. The pantry staff member, identified as Ramjeet, allegedly attempted to sexually assault her in the train's restroom.

Brave Bystanders Intervene
According to the victim, the assailant also engaged in unnatural sexual acts during the assault. Fortunately, two young men traveling on the train heard the commotion from the restroom and intervened, helping to rescue the woman from the attacker.
