Shocking Allegations of Bigamy and Abuse in Uttar Pradesh

A shocking incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh where a woman has accused her husband of having three previous marriages. The woman claimed that after their marriage, her stepson attempted to assault her. Following her complaint, the police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.

The woman, who got married on July 6, 2023, alleges that her husband concealed the fact that he had three wives and a son prior to their union.

Allegations of Abuse and Harassment
Shortly after the marriage, the woman reported being subjected to harassment for dowry, with demands for a motorcycle. She also accused her stepson of making several inappropriate advances towards her. When she reported this to her husband, he responded violently, issuing a triple talaq and expelling her from their home. Subsequently, she returned to her parental home.

After filing a complaint with the local police station and receiving no response, she escalated the matter to the office of the Superintendent of Police. Following this, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against the father-son duo as per the SP's directive. Inspector Gajendra Singh from the Nakhasa police station confirmed that the FIR has been lodged and that the accused will be apprehended soon.

Threats and Further Allegations
Meanwhile, the city police have registered another FIR based on a court order. A woman has accused her in-laws of assault, harassment, and robbery. The case names seven relatives, alleging that after her husband passed away on February 17, 2022, her in-laws began to harass her for dowry. She claims that her father-in-law began to make inappropriate advances towards her, despite her having three children.
