Shocking Abduction and Assault Case in Meerut Involving a 13-Year-Old Girl

Meerut: A distressing incident has emerged from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Reports indicate that two young men have abducted a 13-year-old girl and assaulted her. The assailants reportedly forced the girl to consume beer before committing the crime. Law enforcement has apprehended the primary suspect, while efforts to locate his accomplice are ongoing. According to the complaint filed by the family, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the vicinity of the Lisadi Gate police station.
Details of the Assault
Family members revealed that the girl had stepped out to buy vegetables when she was forcibly taken by two local youths, 23-year-old Uwais and his 26-year-old associate Suhail. The complaint states that they transported her from the Lisadi Gate area to a wooded location near the Bijli Bamba bypass. There, the assailants compelled her to drink beer, after which Uwais assaulted her. Late at night, the girl managed to escape and returned home to inform her family about the horrific ordeal.
Ongoing Investigation
Circle Officer Abhishek Patel from the local police station confirmed that a case has been registered based on the family's complaint, leading to Uwais's arrest. He is currently being interrogated. The victim has been sent to the district hospital for a medical examination, and authorities are also searching for the tempo used in the crime. Inspector Ashok Yadav reported that the girl has accused Uwais of rape in her statement to the police. Investigations are underway, and police are actively conducting raids to apprehend Suhail.
