Book Launch Event Highlights
On Tuesday, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled his book titled 'Apnapan: My Experiences with Narendra Modi'. This publication offers an in-depth account of his personal interactions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and nearly thirty years of professional journey. During the launch event, Chouhan reminisced about a pre-election meeting where Modi emphasized the significance of technology for India's development.
Chouhan recounted how, during the meeting, Modi asked, 'Who has an email ID?' This prompted a moment of silence as attendees exchanged puzzled looks. Eventually, the late Babulal Gaur, who later became Chief Minister, humorously responded, 'What about this woman’s email?' Modi recognized early on that technology was crucial for shaping India's future and building a developed nation. His foresight and proactive approach were evident even then.
The launch was attended by several dignitaries, including Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with various central ministers and distinguished guests. In a post on X, Chouhan expressed that after working closely with Modi for an extended period, he views him as 'a dedicated worker, skilled administrator, visionary leader, and an exceptional organization builder.' He added that the book encapsulates 'priceless experiences, memories, lessons, and emotional moments' shared with the Prime Minister.
Chouhan expressed his belief that this book will provide future generations with insights into Modi's 'personality, his big heart, dedication to national service, and deep affection for workers.' He also congratulated Modi on completing 12 years as Prime Minister, describing his tenure as a golden era for India's reconstruction. Modi first took office on May 26, 2014, and has since been sworn in for consecutive terms in 2019 and 2024.
Chouhan reflected on the warmth present in years of memories, the journeys through struggles, and the kindness shown to workers. He noted that this sense of belonging was always evident in Modi's decisions, communications, and relationships. He aimed to weave these invaluable experiences, memories, lessons, and emotional moments into his book 'Apnapan: My Experiences with Narendra Modi'. He is confident that this book will familiarize the new generation with the breadth of the Prime Minister's character, the vastness of his heart, his commitment to national service, and his affectionate demeanor towards workers.
