Shivpal Singh Yadav Responds to Allegations

Shivpal Singh Yadav, a prominent leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), refuted claims made by Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Thursday, which suggested that there was internal discord within the SP. Yadav labeled these allegations as a conspiracy orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking to a news media outlet, he condemned the BJP and its allies for spreading falsehoods for political gain. He asserted that no member of the Samajwadi Party would abandon the party, stating that such remarks are merely tactics to boost their TRP and gain more seats in the elections.

Yadav mocked Rajbhar, implying that his statements are motivated by financial incentives. He suggested that Rajbhar might be compensated for his tweets, which leads him to make such claims and spread lies. Yadav confidently predicted that under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, the SP would form the government in Uttar Pradesh in 2027. He further remarked that Rajbhar is not taken seriously across the state.

Om Prakash Rajbhar, a leader of the SBSP and a minister in Uttar Pradesh, was previously an ally of the Samajwadi Party but is now part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Earlier on Thursday, Rajbhar criticized the Samajwadi Party, accusing its leadership of attempting to shield themselves amid ongoing investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He mentioned that Ram Gopal Yadav had sent a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, referencing a CBI FIR related to former minister Gayatri Prajapati and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Rajbhar pointed out that the contents of the letter from Ram Gopal Yadav are included in the CBI FIR against Gayatri Prajapati, who is currently in jail, while Akhilesh Yadav remains free. Additionally, he noted that Ram Gopal Yadav's son, Shivpal Yadav, and other family members are implicated in the Gomti River Front case. Therefore, he concluded that the Samajwadi Party released that list solely for self-preservation.
