The recent event in Dharamshala followed the grand ceremonies of the Shining Star Awards 4.0 held in Palampur.
Rajesh Sharma, the Chairman of HPBOSE, was the Chief Guest at the Degree College Auditorium in Dharamshala.
Approximately 600 outstanding students from various schools in Kangra, who achieved 85% or higher in their board exams, were honored during the ceremony. These students, representing both private and government institutions, were joined by their parents and teachers.
The event was supported by Minerva Study Circle, Ghumarwain and Dharamshala, along with partner institutions such as HIET Group of Institutions, P3Y, Dronacharya, and Digiperform. The award series is expanding in both its reach and impact.
Initiated by a leading digital news platform in Himachal Pradesh, the Shining Star Awards 4.0 is more than just a ceremony; it represents a movement aimed at recognizing and uplifting young achievers.
Continuing the successful legacy of previous editions in 2023, 2024, and 2025, the awards celebrate the dedication, hard work, and academic success of the youth in Himachal Pradesh. This initiative also emphasizes the importance of student well-being and excellence beyond academics.
Sunil Chadha, the Executive Editor, highlighted the broader vision behind the awards: “We aim not only to celebrate merit but also to cultivate a future with these bright individuals. These stars represent our strength, and this recognition marks just the beginning.”
Political Editor S Gopal Puri echoed this sentiment, stating, “Every student’s success is supported by their parents. Today’s event also honors them.”
Notable attendees included Sanjay Sharma (BJP Leader), Ankur Soni (President, Bar Association), Virender Choudhary (MD, Gian Jyoti College), Vishav Chakshu Puri (Former Media Advisor to the CM), Pushpendera Mahajan (Life Coach, P3Y), Rajinder Singh (Dronacharya College Rait), and Sunny Sharma (MD, Digiperform Dharamshala), among others.
With Palampur and Dharamshala setting high standards, the Shining Star Awards 4.0 will soon extend to other districts in Himachal Pradesh, continuing its mission of recognition and encouragement.
