Pawar Optimistic About Monsoon in Maharashtra
In other remarks, Pawar expressed optimism regarding the monsoon season in Maharashtra. When asked about agricultural conditions, he noted, 'The India Meteorological Department has predicted a good monsoon, although there is a slight delay. Therefore, there is no need for concern.'
Leadership Changes in NCP
Meanwhile, Jayant Patil, the president of the NCP's Maharashtra unit, offered his resignation to provide opportunities for new faces within the party. When questioned about Patil's decision, Pawar remarked, 'He (Patil) has stated that new leadership should be prepared. We will see what happens after discussions with everyone.'
