Sharad Pawar Highlights Gautam Adani's Journey as Inspiration for Youth

Inauguration of Excellence Center in Baramati

On Sunday, Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, remarked that the life journey of industrialist Gautam Adani serves as a source of inspiration for ambitious and hardworking youth. Pawar made these comments during the inauguration of the Sharadchandra Pawar Artificial Intelligence Excellence Center in Baramati, Pune district.

This center, funded by the Adani Group's chairman, has been established under the educational institution Vidya Pratishthan, which is managed by the Pawar family. Pawar noted that Adani hails from the drought-affected Banaskantha district in Gujarat. He moved to Mumbai and started from scratch, and today his business spans across 23 states in the country.

Pawar stated, 'Adani's journey is a motivation for hardworking youth who dream big.' Adani, in turn, referred to Sharad Pawar as his mentor, highlighting how the senior leader has effectively linked grassroots realities with the national agenda.

He added, 'Baramati symbolizes transformation and limitless possibilities, made possible by his visionary leadership.' The event was attended by prominent figures including Sharad Pawar, MP Supriya Sule from Baramati, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, his wife and Rajya Sabha member Sunetra Pawar, along with other family members.

Also present were MLA Rohit Pawar from the NCP and Yugen Pawar, treasurer of Vidya Pratishthan. Adani had previously visited Baramati, the hometown of the Pawar family, in 2022 for the inauguration of a Science and Innovation Activity Center. The relationship between Pawar and Adani spans nearly two decades.
