So far, 24 fatalities have been reported, along with 15 injuries. Additionally, 16 animals have also lost their lives. Various districts in the state have experienced not only rain but also high winds and lightning strikes, severely disrupting daily life. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed profound sorrow over this natural calamity.

Furthermore, CM Yogi has specifically directed that compensation for loss of life, livestock, and injuries be disbursed within 24 hours. He has ordered district officials and relevant authorities to expedite relief and rescue operations, warning that any negligence or delay in these efforts will not be tolerated.
