According to meteorological reports, a strong Western Disturbance has been influencing the weather since March 18, and this pattern is expected to continue until March 20. During this period, districts in Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, and Udaipur have experienced strong winds (40-60 km/h), thunder, rain, and sporadic hail.

- Jaipur: The city has seen overcast skies since morning, with hail reported in some areas during the afternoon, resulting in a temperature drop of approximately 9-11 degrees. The minimum temperature hovered around 15-17 degrees.
- Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu: Hailstorms were particularly severe here, with pea-sized hail damaging crops.
- Alwar, Bharatpur Region: Light to moderate rain accompanied by hail led to water accumulation on roads.
- Bikaner-Jodhpur: Isolated rain and hail were reported along with strong winds.

The ongoing hail and rain over the past three days have severely affected mustard, wheat, and other rabi crops. Many farmers have reported significant damage to their fields due to the hail. The meteorological department has advised farmers to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect their crops.

On March 20, there is still a possibility of thunderstorms, rain, and hail in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, and Kota regions. Following this, the weather is expected to gradually clear up, with temperatures likely to rise again.
The meteorological department has issued an Orange Alert, urging residents to stay cautious, carry umbrellas or raincoats when going outside, and protect themselves from strong winds.
