Officials have indicated that this storm is part of a final wave of unstable weather affecting the UAE. The National Centre of Meteorology has forecasted that heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and the possibility of hail will persist until Friday, March 27. Their advisory noted that rainfall intensity may vary and could be accompanied by thunder and lightning. Winds are expected to pick up at times, stirring up dust and sand, which will significantly impair visibility, particularly in open areas.

Residents are advised to take precautions, especially in Abu Dhabi, where conditions may be more severe. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to have light to moderate sea conditions.

Despite the current stormy weather, meteorologists anticipate an improvement starting Saturday, with clearer skies and cooler temperatures expected to return across the region.
