Serious Plane Crash in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh: Pilot Injured
Major Aircraft Incident in Kasganj

A significant aircraft accident occurred on Monday evening in Kasganj district, Uttar Pradesh, when a plane crashed near a field and an under-construction highway. The female trainee pilot sustained serious injuries, but fortunately, local residents and police were able to rescue her in time.
Details of the Flight
According to initial reports, the aircraft had taken off from the Dhani Pur airstrip in Aligarh as part of a solo training flight under the Chetak Aviation Flying Training Organization. During the flight, it collided with high-tension power lines, leading to a loss of control and subsequent crash.
What Happened During the Crash?
Witnesses reported that the plane began to descend rapidly and struck high-tension wires near the under-construction Bareilly-Mathura highway. Following the collision, the aircraft crashed into a field and was completely destroyed.
Pilot's Condition
Local villagers, along with police and administrative teams, quickly arrived at the scene to extract the injured pilot from the wreckage and transported her to the district hospital. She was later referred to Agra for advanced medical care. Recent medical updates indicate that the trainee pilot's condition is stable, with several external injuries, but she is out of danger and continues to receive treatment under medical supervision.
A Major Disaster Averted
It has been reported that the high-tension line the aircraft struck was not energized at the time due to ongoing highway construction work. This prevented a fire from breaking out, averting a potential disaster.
Investigation Launched by DGCA
Following the incident, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated an investigation.
