The local police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Authorities have stated that further actions will be determined based on the findings of the inquiry.
Details of the Case
The case has drawn significant attention, tarnishing the reputation of Nuh. A woman has made serious allegations against her brother-in-law, claiming he attempted to rape her, harassed her, and threatened her life. Following her complaint, the police have initiated an investigation.
According to reports, the accused is the husband of a former acting village head. The victim informed the police that her husband has been suffering from paralysis for an extended period. During this time, her brother-in-law allegedly harbored inappropriate intentions towards her, making lewd phone calls late at night and pressuring her for sexual relations.
Continued Harassment by the Accused
The victim stated that she consistently rejected his advances, but he persisted in his inappropriate behavior. On April 13, while she was resting in her room, the accused, identified as Papij, son of Khechda, forcibly entered her room and attempted to assault her.
When she screamed for help, he threatened to kill her. The situation escalated until the children entered the room, prompting the accused to flee the scene. The victim has requested police protection for herself and her children and is urging for strict legal action against the perpetrator.

Previous Incident of Assault in Nuh
It is worth noting that this is not the first such incident in Nuh. In March, a 25-year-old nurse from Punjab was reportedly held captive by a truck driver for several days, during which she was repeatedly assaulted. The accused had threatened her life and warned her against reporting the incident by threatening to share compromising videos on social media. The victim managed to escape one night and subsequently reported the matter to the police, leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.
