The accused is reportedly the husband of a former acting woman sarpanch. According to the victim's statement to the police, her husband has been suffering from paralysis for an extended period. During this time, her brother-in-law has allegedly been making inappropriate advances and pressuring her for sexual relations through late-night phone calls.

Continued Harassment by the Accused

The victim stated that she repeatedly rejected the accused's advances, but he persisted. On April 13, while she was resting in her room after returning home, the accused, identified as Papij, son of Khechda, forcibly entered her room and attempted to engage in sexual acts.

When the woman screamed for help, the accused threatened her with death. He fled the scene when the children entered the room. The victim has requested police protection for herself and her children and has called for strict legal action against the accused.

Police Investigation Underway

Currently, the police at the Rozka Mev station have filed a case and are investigating the incident seriously. They have assured that further actions will be taken based on the investigation's outcomes.

Previous Incident in Nuh

It is worth noting that earlier in March, a 25-year-old nurse from Punjab was held captive by a truck driver in Nuh, where she was repeatedly raped over several days. The accused had also threatened to kill her and post inappropriate videos of her on social media. The victim managed to escape one night and reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.
