Allegations of Sexual Abuse and Threats

In Agra's New Agra area, a woman has made alarming accusations against her brother-in-law, claiming he sexually abused her 10-year-old son, while also alleging that her father-in-law threatened to kill her. Following the police commissioner's directive, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the New Agra police station.

Serious Allegations of Abuse in Agra: Woman Accuses In-Laws

The victim, originally from Madhya Pradesh, reported to the police that since her remarriage in November 2024, her in-laws have been continuously harassing her for dowry. She discovered in October 2025 that her younger brother-in-law was engaging in inappropriate behavior with her innocent son, leading to sexual abuse. When she attempted to report this serious issue to the police, her in-laws allegedly began threatening both her and her child.

The situation escalated on April 5, when her father-in-law reportedly sent threatening messages via mobile, warning her and her son of dire consequences. This intimidation left the woman terrified, prompting her to urgently seek police protection.

Given the gravity of the situation, an FIR was promptly registered at the New Agra police station upon the police commissioner's orders. DCP City Syed Ali Abbas confirmed that the case has been registered based on the family dispute and sexual abuse allegations. He assured that the police would gather evidence and conduct a thorough investigation, taking strict action against the perpetrators. Currently, the police are recording statements from the woman and her son while collecting other necessary evidence.
