He expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. During his visit, Naqvi met with the Iranian ambassador and paid tribute to the late leader, extending his sympathies to the people of Iran.
Naqvi Advocates for Peace as a Solution
In a conversation with the media, Naqvi emphasized that India, known as the land of Buddha, has always championed peace. Echoing Prime Minister Modi's sentiments, he stated that the resolution to any issue can only be achieved through peaceful means.

Details of Khamenei's Death
It is noteworthy that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died on February 28 due to a joint attack by Israel and the United States. The assault also resulted in the deaths of several other Iranian leaders and military officials. Due to security concerns and ongoing attacks, the funeral originally scheduled for March 5 has been postponed.
