In Delhi, a significant security alert has been raised concerning educational institutions. Panic ensued on Monday after bomb threats were reported at Ramjas College and Miranda House, both affiliated with Delhi University.
According to reports, the college administration received a suspicious email indicating the potential presence of explosive devices on campus. Prompt action was taken, and the Delhi police along with other security agencies were notified immediately.
Both college campuses were evacuated as a precautionary measure, ensuring that students, staff, and faculty were relocated to safe areas. Bomb disposal units and sniffer dog squads were deployed to conduct extensive searches of the premises.
Intensive investigations are currently underway at both campuses. Authorities are working to determine the sender of the threatening email and the motives behind it.
