Saraya's Potential WWE Comeback Sparks Excitement Among Fans
Saraya's Departure from AEW and Future Aspirations
In early 2025, Saraya revealed her exit from All Elite Wrestling after a two-year tenure. This announcement, reported exclusively by a popular entertainment outlet, came shortly after she unveiled her new podcast, Rulebreakers With Saraya, while promoting her memoir, leaving many in the wrestling community surprised.
Following her departure from AEW, fans have speculated about Saraya's potential return to WWE. The former Divas Champion has expressed interest in returning but noted that it won't happen immediately due to her commitments to her podcast and other projects, including a film.
Currently, Saraya aims to stay away from wrestling but remains hopeful about returning to the ring soon. While it's unclear if she has engaged in discussions with WWE, she plans to start training with her former Total Divas co-star, Natalya Neidhart, to prepare herself physically for a possible comeback.
Natalya's Enthusiasm for Saraya's Return
In a recent interview with a wrestling media outlet, Natalya expressed her desire to see Saraya return to WWE. She encouraged Saraya to channel her past determination and reclaim her dominant persona from NXT. Natalya also mentioned that she has unfinished business with Saraya.
“If you bring your heart and work ethic and are ready to sweat, I would love the chance to get in the ring with her,” Natalya stated regarding Saraya's potential WWE return. “I would love to see Paige come back and train with me, and of course, I would love to work with Paige again in WWE one day. We have a lot of unfinished business.”
The Future of Saraya in WWE
While there is no official confirmation regarding Saraya's return to WWE in 2025, if it occurs, it would mark her first appearance on live television in nearly seven years. Saraya last served as the SmackDown general manager in 2018, and her final match in WWE was a six-woman tag team bout against Bayley, Mickie James, and Sasha Banks on WWE Raw in 2017.
