Raut Stands by Gandhi's Remarks

Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha MP from Shiv Sena UBT, has come to Rahul Gandhi's defense following the BJP's criticism of Gandhi's use of the term "traitor." Responding to the BJP's attacks, Raut stated that the party often adopts an aggressive stance. He emphasized that Rahul Gandhi, as the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, speaks thoughtfully. Being the son of Rajiv Gandhi and the grandson of Indira Gandhi, he is part of a political legacy. Such language is not exclusive to Rahul Gandhi; other leaders in the country also use similar expressions. Raut suggested that the BJP and RSS should reflect on why such language is being employed by politicians.

Response to NIA Chargesheet

In light of the NIA's chargesheet regarding the Pulwama terrorist attack, Raut pointed out that the main conspirator, a terrorist known as Longda, is based in Pakistan. He questioned, "Where is Longda now? He is in Pakistan, right? So bring him here." He recalled that an operation named 'Sindoor' was initiated to eliminate criminals in Pulwama. Raut asserted that the nation demands the execution of Longda and Tangra to ensure justice.

Concerns Over National Challenges

Commenting on the cabinet meeting convened by the Prime Minister, Raut expressed that the country is facing serious challenges. He remarked that India's situation is extremely critical, especially with China as a neighboring power. Now that Modi has returned from Italy, Raut hopes for an improvement in India's circumstances, suggesting that the Prime Minister must have brought back some solutions. He highlighted the dire state of the Indian economy.

Criticism of Rising Unemployment and Fuel Prices

Raut also criticized the government for the increasing unemployment rates and rising fuel prices. He noted that joblessness is on the rise, with people waiting in long queues. The prices of petrol and diesel continue to escalate. He pointed out that while the Prime Minister offers advice to the nation, he fails to provide a clear path for citizens to live peacefully.
