The event will be held at Indigo at The O2, where he will face Wallochon from Malta in a match promoted as a Commonwealth title bout.

Unbeaten in MMA

Sangram, a two-time Commonwealth Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, has successfully shifted to MMA, boasting an impressive record of four consecutive wins. He made his debut in September 2024, where he triumphed over Ali Raza Nasir from Pakistan in just 90 seconds during the GAMA International Fighting Championship in Georgia. Following that, he secured victories against Hakim Trabelsi from Tunisia and Florian Coudier from France, ultimately winning the STRIKE Asia Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His latest victory came on July 19, when he knocked out Mohammed Abid Ali from Pakistan in a mere 80 seconds, solidifying his status in the international MMA arena.

Inspiring Others

Reflecting on his upcoming match, Sangram stated, "Age is just a number. What truly counts is your discipline, dedication, and the drive to keep pushing your limits. I am thrilled to represent India on an international platform and to continue my journey in MMA. This will also mark my first trip to London, making this event even more significant for me. I aim to perform my best in the cage and motivate young Indians to realize that it's never too late to chase a new dream." His transition from professional wrestling to MMA at the age of 40 has garnered attention, and his ongoing success in global competitions fuels his desire to inspire more Indian athletes to pursue MMA opportunities.
