Warriors Set to Compete in Odisha T20 League
The Sambalpur Warriors are poised to make their mark in the Odisha T20 League this month, aiming to improve upon their runners-up finish from the previous season. The franchise is determined to clinch the championship title this time around.
Under the leadership of captain Gaurav Choudhury and the guidance of former Indian player Sanjay Raul as Head Coach, the Warriors will kick off their season at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. They will face the defending champions, the Cuttack Panthers, on September 20, marking a rematch of last year’s final. The team enters this season with valuable experience from their previous deep run in the tournament.

Vineet Kumar Verma, the owner of the Sambalpur Warriors, expressed that last season's journey has fueled the franchise's aspirations. He stated, "Last season demonstrated the potential of our team. Reaching the final was a significant milestone, but it has also ignited a desire within the squad to take that final leap. Sambalpur boasts a dedicated sports community, and we aim to provide our fans with a team they can take pride in."

Sanjay Raul, the Head Coach and former international player, emphasized the importance of preparation and execution over the expectations set by last season's performance.
