New Delhi: Salman Khan expressed his concern regarding the recent paper leak incident, emphasizing its seriousness while showing solidarity with the students who have been protesting. He conveyed his sympathies to those injured during the peaceful demonstrations.

The renowned actor praised the commitment and determination of the students, highlighting their efforts to secure a better future for themselves and contribute to a more educated India.

In a thoughtful message shared on X, he remarked, “It was such a peaceful movement, and it’s disheartening that it turned violent. My heart goes out to the students and their families who faced harm. The paper leak is a critical issue, and it’s heartening to see our youth unite for an improved educational framework, with their parents backing them.”

Khan cautioned against allowing the protests to be politically manipulated, stating, “This movement is the right approach, and the students have conducted themselves with bravery and determination. This generation is motivated towards education and will undoubtedly make India proud.”

He further emphasized that the matter should remain focused on the students and the educational system, urging that any political interference be avoided. He expressed confidence that the government would support the students in their quest for a robust educational system, describing it as a mutually beneficial scenario. “I hope for a positive resolution,” he added.

Khan also suggested that education should be made more appealing and trendy to position India as a global education hub.

The protests concerning the alleged NEET paper leak have garnered backing from various figures in the film industry, including Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, Rajkummar Rao, Revathy, Tovino Thomas, and Anurag Kashyap.

Notably, Salman Khan is the first among the prominent Khan trio to publicly address this issue.

His statement follows a police intervention during the 'Chalo Sansad' march in the capital, organized by the Cockroach Janta Party, which aimed to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities.
