SADA Bharmour Meeting Focuses on Revenue Growth and Development Plans

A pivotal meeting of the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Bharmour took place on Tuesday at the Mini Secretariat's conference hall, presided over by Mukesh Repaswal, the Chairman and Deputy Commissioner of Chamba.
During this session, the financial report for the fiscal year 2023–24 was reviewed and approved, alongside the annual budget and work plan for 2024–25. Discussions also included significant proposals for the financial year 2025–26.
Several important resolutions were made to boost SADA Bharmour’s revenue, which include:
- Leasing out approved shops, gym facilities, and parking areas
- Renting the shopping complex adjacent to the old bus stand
- Implementing maintenance fees for commercial properties
- Enforcing building plan regulations rigorously
- Enhancing solid waste management and sanitation services in Bharmour town
Additionally, it was resolved to impose a green fee on vehicles registered outside Himachal Pradesh that enter the Bharmour SADA area to increase local revenue.
DC Repaswal emphasized the urgent need for a door-to-door plastic waste collection and waste management initiative to be put into action.
The meeting saw participation from SP Abhishek Yadav, ADM Bharmour Kulbir Singh Rana, Executive Engineer of the Jal Shakti Department Harminder Chauna, PWD’s Sanjay Sharma, Forest Officer Navnath Mane, TCP’s Dharmendra Kumar, BDO Ramanveer Chauhan, Panchayat Pradhan Anil Kumar, Sanchui Sanjeev Kumar, along with other departmental officials and local residents.
