On June 12, 2026, Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School in Dalhousie held a vibrant celebration for the Sacred Heart Feast, marked by heartfelt devotion and enthusiasm. The day began with a solemn morning prayer at the Church, attended by Father Anand Bately, the Parish Priest of St. Francis Church, along with Sisters, teachers, and students.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Vice Principal Sr. Lissy Anthony, followed by a beautiful welcome dance and the Holy Mass, which set a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for the day's festivities.

The celebrations continued in Mother Placida’s Auditorium, where the school community gathered to honor the spirit of faith and unity. The program started with a prayer song and a welcome dance, leading into an enlightening presentation that emphasized the importance of the Sacred Heart, symbolized by the Heart and the Flame, representing divine compassion and unconditional love.

The Kindergarten students captivated the audience with a delightful dance performance. A thought-provoking skit by Class X-C, inspired by the Good Samaritan parable, effectively conveyed the message that kindness can make a significant impact. The skit illustrated a Samaritan aiding an injured man, reinforcing Jesus' teachings on unconditional love, dignity, humanity, and the virtues of both intellect and emotion.

Class V-B added humor to the event with a comic dance drama that entertained everyone. The energetic dance performance by the boys of Class X-C was a highlight, along with a vibrant Punjabi dance that celebrated cultural diversity. An orchestra performance by the students of Class V-B enchanted the audience with a delightful mix of songs and musical harmony. The celebration concluded with a graceful Nati dance performed by the girls of Class X-C, honoring the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh.

In her address, Principal Sr. Molly Cherian conveyed Feast greetings and emphasized the core message of the Sacred Heart—unconditional love as taught by Jesus Christ. She commended the students for their outstanding performances and for beautifully expressing the essence of the occasion.

To add sweetness to the day filled with faith, joy, and unity, chocolates were distributed among the students.
