Russia has made a startling claim regarding Iran that has caught the world's attention. Following nearly 40 days of conflict, a temporary ceasefire has been established between the United States and Iran. Reports indicate that both nations are set to initiate discussions for a peace agreement, raising hopes for stability in the region. However, the situation remains far from normal. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, stated that Iran has showcased its true strength during this conflict. According to Medvedev, Iran's most formidable weapon is not a conventional nuclear bomb. He asserted that the Strait of Hormuz is Iran's new nuclear weapon. This strait is one of the world's most crucial maritime routes, facilitating a substantial portion of global oil supply and trade.
