Russian Woman Lives with Husband's Corpse for Four Years

In a shocking incident from Russia, a woman has been discovered living with her deceased husband's body for nearly four years. Reports indicate that she had even kept her children in the same environment, sleeping beside the mummified remains of her spouse.

The woman reportedly threatened her children, warning them that if they revealed the situation to anyone, she would abandon them at an orphanage.

According to reports, 49-year-old Vladimir died under mysterious circumstances in their separate home four years ago.

One report stated that Svetlana wrapped her deceased husband in a blanket and brought him into her bedroom, placing him on the bed.

The situation came to light when social workers visited the home to check on the family. They found not only Vladimir's body but also Svetlana's two daughters, aged 17 and 8, along with 11-year-old twin sons. Despite previous visits over the years, the social workers had never noticed the corpse.

A source revealed to a local newspaper that Svetlana had engaged in rituals involving the mummified remains within their six-bedroom house. She and her husband had previously been involved in such practices. It is believed that she was unwilling to accept her husband's death, hoping he would one day awaken. Svetlana allegedly expressed her desire for him to remain close so they could see each other.

The house was filled with eerie items, including a cross from Egypt found near the corpse's feet. It contained various occult objects such as tarot cards, talismans, skulls, and numerous images of Anubis, the ancient Egyptian god of the dead.

Reports also mentioned that prior to his death, the couple had an argument, during which the woman allegedly cursed her husband, leading to his sudden collapse and death.
