Key Discussions on Social Unity and Organizational Expansion

Lucknow: During a press conference held at the Vishwa Samvad Kendra in Jiyamau, Lucknow, Sardar Swarn Singh, the provincial chief of the Awadh region, along with co-provincial general secretary Sanjay Singh, addressed the recent All India Representative Assembly in Samalkha, Haryana. They elaborated on significant topics such as the expansion of organizational work, the active participation of society's virtuous forces for national interest, and the promotion of social harmony.

Sardar Swarn Singh emphasized that a statement was issued by General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale on the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiro Mani Guru Ravidas. The statement highlighted the need for society to unite against divisive forces that seek to create divisions based on class and caste, urging a commitment to work towards societal unity by understanding the essence of Sant Ravidas's teachings.

He further stated that society should recognize the exemplary contributions of great personalities beyond caste and religious biases. The sentiment of 'Nation First' and the nature of 'Panch Parivartan' should prevail in the country. In line with this, RSS volunteers organized over 2,000 events nationwide to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji from the Sikh tradition. In the Awadh region alone, 24 events were conducted, attracting participation from over 10,000 individuals.

Sanjay Singh noted that since the last Vijayadashami, numerous festivals have been celebrated across the country, marking the beginning of centenary year events. These diverse programs have seen success due to the extensive planning and hard work of the volunteers. Community members welcomed these initiatives with enthusiasm and support. Various segments of society actively participated in these events, contributing significantly to their success. The programs organized at the mandal and basti levels have successfully reached the grassroots of society, enhancing the organization's visibility. Home visits have facilitated the dissemination of RSS ideologies to households, fostering positive thinking and a sense of duty through goodwill meetings and civic gatherings. The community now has heightened expectations from the RSS as it understands the organization’s centennial journey, and there is growing curiosity about its social initiatives.

The organizational work in the Awadh region continues to expand. Out of a total of 2,888 mandals, 2,860 have branches, and Hindu conferences have been held in 2,728 mandals. Home visits have reached 15,864 out of 18,993 villages. A total of 294 meetings promoting social harmony and 124 major public gatherings have been organized. The centenary year programs will conclude by the upcoming Vijayadashami. Plans are underway to increase youth engagement in national consciousness, organizational nature, and social transformation efforts. The goal is to enhance the active participation of maximum volunteers and establish more branches. The work of the RSS is ongoing, and the centenary year truly reflects the organization’s 100-year journey. An appeal was made to continuously promote the sentiment of 'Nation First' and the nature of 'Panch Parivartan' while harnessing the latent and eager strengths of society.

In conclusion, gratitude was expressed to all attending journalists, and Holi greetings were extended. The regional publicity chief, Subhash Ji, was also present at this Holi celebration event.
