Mohan Bhagwat's Visit to Tirupati
On Friday, Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), paid a visit to Tirupati to offer prayers at the shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. The officials from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) warmly welcomed Bhagwat and subsequently escorted him for the darshan.
A TTD official stated, 'The officials received Mohan Bhagwat and then took him for the darshan.' Following the visit, priests presented the RSS chief with a silk cloth at the Ranganayaka Mandapam and offered him the prasadam of the deity. The TTD serves as the official governing body of the Tirupati temple, which is recognized as the wealthiest Hindu temple in the world.
