RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Highlights Hindu Conferences for Centenary Celebration
Mohan Bhagwat Addresses Hindu Conferences Nationwide
Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), announced that Hindu conferences are being organized across the country to commemorate the organization's centenary. He emphasized that this occasion should not be viewed merely as a display of valor, but rather as a moment of responsibility. Speaking at one of these conferences, Bhagwat remarked that the centenary celebrations are not intended for showcasing power, stating, "This is not about bravery."
Reflections on the Organization's Origins
Reflecting on the foundation of the organization, Bhagwat noted that Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar established the RSS with great dedication. He acknowledged the visible crises in various sectors today but stressed that merely discussing problems does not lead to solutions. Bhagwat urged that the focus should be on finding resolutions rather than just engaging in discussions. He shared a story to shed light on the current state of Hindu society and encouraged attendees to engage in self-reflection. He called on the audience to eliminate discrimination from their minds and work towards greater social harmony.
Promoting Linguistic Diversity and Local Manufacturing
Emphasizing the importance of linguistic diversity, Bhagwat stated that all languages spoken in India deserve equal respect as national languages. He advocated for the use of indigenous products and encouraged support for local manufacturing. In concluding his address, he urged citizens to adhere to the Constitution. While addressing a gathering in Hyderabad on Sunday, Bhagwat expressed that India should strive to become a 'Vishwaguru' once again, not out of ambition, but because the world needs it. He highlighted that it is now time to advance the revival of Sanatan Dharma.
Historical Context of Sanatan Dharma's Revival
Citing events from nearly a century ago, Bhagwat recalled that Yogi Aurobindo had proclaimed that the revival of Sanatan Dharma is the will of God and that the emergence of a Hindu nation is essential for this revival.
