Promoting Unity in Diversity

On Saturday, Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), participated in the Sanatan Culture Festival held in Vrindavan, Mathura. During his address, he urged the Hindu community to embrace unity and eliminate any form of discrimination. Bhagwat emphasized that despite the world's tendency to categorize Hindus based on caste, religion, sect, and language, they are fundamentally one.

He reiterated that discrimination should not exist, stating, "We consider the society we live in as one; we believe the entire Hindu community is united, even though the world perceives it through various divisions such as language, caste, sect, and community." He expressed his friendship with all types of Hindus recognized by the world, highlighting their camaraderie in sharing meals and supporting each other in times of joy and sorrow.

Earlier this year, on January 1, Bhagwat performed rituals at the Shri Ram Temple in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. During the centenary celebrations of the RSS on Wednesday, he announced that Hindu conferences are being organized nationwide to commemorate the organization's 100 years. He stressed that this occasion should be viewed not as a moment of 'valor' but as a moment of responsibility.

While addressing a Hindu conference, Bhagwat remarked on the significance of the centenary celebrations, clarifying that they are not intended for showcasing power. He stated, "This is not about valor." Reflecting on the organization's origins, he recalled that Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the RSS with his own blood.
