Royal Group's Affordable Housing Project Wins PMAY Award in Assam

Recognition for Affordable Housing Excellence

Guwahati, June 9: The Royal Group's initiative, 'Royal Aawas Betkuchi,' has been awarded the top honor in the EWS/LIG category for Assam at the PMAY – Affordable Housing Awards 2025. The prestigious event took place on Thursday at Nehru Place, New Delhi, with Shri Tokhan Sahu, the Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, in attendance.

This accolade was presented to Mr. Saurav Pansari, the CEO and Managing Director of Royal Aawas, recognizing the company's dedication to providing quality housing for economically weaker sections (EWS) and lower-income groups (LIG) in the region.

The PMAY Awards are organized with the support of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, NAREDCO, HUDCO, and CREDAI, and are evaluated by a panel of experts from institutions such as CSIR-CBRI Roorkee and the National Institute of Urban Affairs. The selection process involved thorough background checks and project evaluations endorsed by MoHUA.

With this latest achievement, Royal Aawas Betkuchi has secured its third award, following previous recognitions for Royal Aawas Tezpur in 2019 and Royal Aawas Guwahati in 2022, solidifying its status as the most awarded affordable housing brand in Northeast India.
