In a notable initiative aimed at fostering hygiene awareness and digital learning, the Rotary Club Choti Kashi Mandi inaugurated two community service projects on Thursday, supported by the Rotary Foundation, club funds, and contributions from Rtn. Suman Sharma.

The first phase of this initiative took place at Government Senior Secondary School Trifalghat, where a newly established hand wash station was officially dedicated to the school. During the event, club president Dr. Hemlata emphasized the significance of personal hygiene, effective handwashing practices, and health education for students, especially adolescent girls.

Club members also facilitated an engaging session that focused on scientific handwashing techniques and the importance of hygiene in disease prevention. This effort received positive feedback from both teachers and students.

Subsequently, the club members visited Bal Ashram Bhanwar, where they introduced another hand wash station alongside an e-learning facility. This project aims to enhance access to hygiene amenities and modern educational tools for the children living at the ashram.

During their visit, Rotary members interacted with the children, gaining insights into their educational and extracurricular pursuits. They described the experience as emotionally rewarding and commended the nurturing environment provided to the children at the ashram.

The children were observed to be actively participating in academics, sports, and various co-curricular activities. Inspired by their enthusiasm and potential, the club proposed the formation of an Interact Club at the ashram to foster leadership skills, social responsibility, and personal growth among the students.

Rtn. Akhil Gupta has been appointed as the advisor for the upcoming Interact Club initiative.

Club Secretary Renu Gulati, President Akhilesh Bharti, Rotarian Suman Sharma, Rtn Yash Pal Singh, and Rtn. Akhilesh Gupta were present at the events and played active roles in the service activities.

Members of the Rotary Club expressed that such initiatives are crucial in providing meaningful assistance to underprivileged communities. The club reiterated its dedication to continuing community welfare projects throughout the region in the future.
