Rohit accomplished this feat in just 282 innings, making him the second-fastest player to reach this landmark. Virat Kohli holds the record for the fewest innings taken to reach 12,000 runs at 242, while Sachin Tendulkar needed 300 innings. Ricky Ponting and Kumar Sangakkara follow with 314 and 336 innings, respectively. Rohit secured this milestone with a single off Roston Chase during the 16th over, marking his 73rd run of the innings.
