In a shocking incident in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, a young man took revenge for his father's death by brutally murdering an older man with an axe. Following the incident, local police arrived at the scene, secured the body, and sent it for an autopsy while initiating an investigation.

Details of the Incident

The horrifying murder occurred in the Bhaingaon area of the Beniganj police station. The victim, known as the Sarpanch, was attacked in broad daylight. Witnesses reported that the Sarpanch had previously been imprisoned for 14 years for the murder of a man named Satypal in 2009, and had only recently returned to the village after working in Delhi.

The Attack

Just days after returning, the Sarpanch was confronted by Satypal's son, Suraj, who was seething with anger over his father's murder. On Monday morning, as the Sarpanch walked through the alley, Suraj, along with his accomplices, launched a deadly attack using sticks and an axe, leaving the Sarpanch bleeding on the ground.

Police Response

Local authorities quickly responded to the scene, transporting the bloodied Sarpanch to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Following the murder, Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun and senior officials arrived to assess the situation. A forensic team was deployed to collect evidence, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

Ongoing Investigation

Superintendent Jadaun confirmed that several individuals, including both men and women, were involved in the attack, leading to the victim's immediate death. It appears that there was a longstanding dispute between the parties involved. Police have detained four men and three women in connection with the murder.
