Brutal Murder in Hardoi

In Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking incident unfolded when a young man avenged his father's death by brutally murdering an elderly man with an axe. Following the incident, local police arrived at the scene, secured the body, and sent it for an autopsy while initiating an investigation.


Details of the Incident

The horrifying murder took place in the Bhaingaon area of the Beniganj police station jurisdiction. The victim, known as the village head, was attacked in broad daylight. Witnesses reported that the village head had previously been involved in a murder case in 2009, where he was sentenced to 14 years in prison for killing a man named Satypal. Recently released from jail, he had returned to the village after working in Delhi.


The Attack

Just days after returning, the village head was confronted by Satypal's son, Suraj, who was seething with anger over his father's murder. On Monday morning, as the village head walked through the alley, Suraj, along with his accomplices, launched a deadly attack using sticks and an axe, leaving the village head bleeding on the ground.


Police Response

Local authorities were alerted immediately and rushed the injured village head to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Following this brazen act of violence, Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun and senior officials visited the scene. A forensic team was deployed to collect evidence, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination.


Ongoing Investigation

Superintendent Neeraj Jadaun confirmed that several individuals, including both men and women, were involved in the attack, leading to the victim's death. It has been reported that there was a longstanding dispute between the two parties. Police have detained four men and three women in connection with the murder.
